Booking and season
When tours season starts?
The early tour season in Zadar usually begins in mid-March. Booking walking and bus tours for early dates on our website will be available at the end of February or the beginning of March.Boat tours start a bit later — depending on the weather, they usually become available in April or May.
Exact dates may vary depending on the type of tour and weather conditions.
If we are outside the season, we always indicate this on the website — you can also leave your email, and we’ll notify you when bookings open.
Preparation and comfort
What to take with me on the tour?
It depends on the type of tour, but a few things are always good to have.
For most tours, it’s worth bringing comfortable shoes, water, a hat, and sunscreen — even outside the main season. For boat trips or full-day tours, it’s also a good idea to bring a swimsuit, a towel, and something to protect you from the sun or wind. Having a water bottle is important (you won’t always be able to buy one along the way), as well as some cash (many places in Dalmatia don’t accept card payments).

What are the options of payment?
Booking is made online. A deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure your spot on the tour.
The remaining balance is paid on the day of the tour — in cash or, for selected tours, by card (the available payment method is always specified in advance).
After completing your booking and paying the deposit, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details, including the meeting point, start time, and practical information.
Are the tours physically demanding?
The level of difficulty depends on the tour.
City walking tours are usually at a relaxed pace, but may include uneven surfaces or stairs. Full-day tours and trips to national parks typically involve more walking and time spent on your feet.
For each tour, we provide details about the route and level of effort, so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes — you can cancel your booking.
A full refund of the deposit is available if the cancellation is made at least 12 hours before the tour, and for some tours up to 24 hours in advance (exact details are always provided in the tour description).
Cancellations made at the last minute, on the day of the tour, or just before the start are non-refundable, as spots are already reserved and operational costs have been incurred.
If your plans change, it’s always best to let us know as soon as possible — we’ll do our best to check available options.
The weather and changes
The weather in Dalmatia is usually perfect for tours, but sometimes things happen that are beyond our control.
In case of unfavorable weather conditions or other organizational changes, we always contact participants in advance and inform them about available options — such as rescheduling, changes to the program, or alternative solutions, depending on the tour.
If a tour is canceled for organizational reasons, the deposit will be fully refunded.

Where are the meeting points for your tours?
The meeting point depends on the specific tour.
The exact starting location is always provided in the tour description and in the confirmation message after booking. For bus tours or boat trips, this may be a port, a bus stop, or another designated location in Zadar or the surrounding area.

What’s included depends on the specific tour.

It depends on the tour.
Some tours are organized in smaller groups, while others take place in larger, international groups — especially in the case of boat trips and national park excursions.

Which tours are suitable for kids?
It depends on the tour.
Some tours — especially city walks and selected day trips — are great for families with children. Others, due to their duration or program, may be more suitable for adults.

Are the tours are suitable for person with disabilities or elders?
It depends on the tour.
